We had a fantastic stay! The hotel is in the center of the old city, right in the heart of the old quarter. It was the perfect location for us to explore all the sights and walk around. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, providing a luxurious experience for us as backpackers. The staff was friendly and had great communication over email prior to our stay. They even organized a great trip to Halong Bay for us, and arranged a taxi from the airport. Additionally, the hotel facilities were excellent, and the breakfast had a great selection of food to keep us energized for the day.
Nothing to fault.

Stayed at May De Ville Old Quarter II hotel, enjoyed the complimentary wifi, childcare service, and rooftop terrace with great views. Also loved the free buffet breakfast at 7 am, perfect for my lazy mornings.
Didn't like the fact that I had to leave. Couldn't stay forever in this charming place.

Stayed for a night in October and it was totally worth it. Chose the 6 bed dorm for a cheap sleep. Room was clean and quiet, with a great view of the old town. Decent breakfast with fruits, pastry, bread, soup, and noodles. Staff was super friendly and helpful, answering questions about sightseeing and directions. Best part is the central location, perfect for exploring. And all this for only 5-10 USD a night.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

I recently stayed at May De Ville Legend Hotel in Hanoi for a business trip, chosen by my director, and I had an excellent experience. The hotel offers a range of conveniences, including in-room massages, which were a perfect way to unwind after a long day of meetings. The therapists were skilled, and the massages were both relaxing and rejuvenating.
While my stay at May De Ville Legend Hotel was mostly perfect, there was one minor issue that I encountered.

Conveniently located in the heart of the Old Quarter, just a short walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful, especially the man at the tour desk who booked us a great Ha Long Bay tour. The rooms were generally clean and spacious, with comfortable beds.
During our stay, we experienced some issues with cleanliness in the rooms. There were bugs in the bathroom and small patches of mold in one of the bathrooms.

The hotel's bar/lounge area was super cool, the restaurant had a great selection of food, the flat-screen TV in the room was a nice touch, the lift made it easy to get around, and having free, reliable Wi-Fi was a huge plus. The electric kettle in the room was convenient, and the breakfast, though not mentioned, was satisfying.
